The lead door is an automatic door specially designed for entrances and exits of cleanliness and sealing with high requirements. In the production process, it needs to pay attention to the following matters:
1. After the lead is melted, a layer of lead oxide film with a melting point of up to 1525°C can be easily formed on the surface of the bath, where the lead door can be bought, preventing the metals from fusing with each other, forming slag in the weld and incomplete penetration of the edges. Everybody pays attention.
Second, lead has a very low melting point of 327°C, and its thermal conductivity is only 43% of that of iron. Therefore, a low-temperature, low-energy heat source must be used for welding. Commonly used heat sources are hydrogen-oxygen flame and oxyacetylene flame.
Third, the density of lead is relatively large, the density is 11. 34g/cm3, the melting point is low, and the fluidity is high. Therefore, it is difficult to horizontally and upwardly weld. If it is not well mastered, it will melt a lot of falling current. All right, so we must pay attention to safety during the period.
Fourth, due to the low boiling point of lead, only 1619 °C, in the welding, the evaporation of lead and oxygen in the air, resulting in toxic oxides. Therefore, lead poisoning should be prevented during the welding process.
5. Lead has a high deformability, and no significant welding stress and stress induced cracks and deformation will occur in the weldment after welding.
